Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AJAMAX Productions ("we") collects and uses personal data when you use AJAMAX+. We are the data controller and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number [ICO number].
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored securely hashed), plan and membership status.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive limited information such as card type, last four digits, billing country and payment status — we never see or store your full card number.
- Profile and viewing data: profile names, My List, titles watched and playback position.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and — if you consent — analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Communications: messages you send us and your email preferences.
How we use it and our lawful bases

Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (video storage and delivery), our web hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and Google (Google Analytics, only with your consent). Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open and for up to 24 months after it closes (so you can return to your profiles and history), then delete or anonymise it. Payment and tax records are kept for 6 years as required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email support@ajamax.com to make a request — we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Account holders must be 18 or over. Kids profiles are created and managed by the account holder; we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
